AV Field Service Engineer

Troubleshoot High-End AV Systems | Customer-Facing Role | Career Growth

We're seeking an AV Field Service Engineer to support enterprise clients throughout the New York City area. This role is focused on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial audiovisual systems in conference rooms, boardrooms, and meeting spaces.

If you have experience installing, servicing, or supporting AV technology and enjoy solving technical problems while working directly with customers, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and resolve issues with commercial AV systems
• Troubleshoot video conferencing, displays, audio systems, and control systems
• Perform service calls, preventative maintenance, and system testing
• Work directly with clients to identify issues and provide solutions
• Document findings and complete service reports
• Conduct site surveys and provide technical recommendations
• Support executive conference rooms and enterprise AV environments

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of commercial AV experience (installation, integration, or service)
• Experience troubleshooting AV systems in corporate environments
• Knowledge of Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Cisco, Poly, or similar technologies
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and AV over IP is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred

• CTS certification
• Prior field service or break-fix experience
• Experience supporting video conferencing platforms and enterprise meeting rooms

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
