Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the Electrical, Communications and Audio Visual (AV) Integration industry, delivering high-quality commercial projects across a diverse range of sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, an opportunity exists for an experienced AV Project Manager / AV Technology Manager to lead the successful delivery of audio visual projects while managing an established team of technical professionals.

This is a senior leadership position suited to an individual who combines strong technical AV knowledge with commercial acumen, project management expertise and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

The role:

As the AV Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, estimation, delivery and successful completion of commercial AV projects. You will work closely with clients, consultants, builders, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will also play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the AV division.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the successful delivery of commercial AV projects from concept through to commissioning and handover.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, builders and key stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts.
• Design and develop tailored AV solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare professional quotations, submissions, proposals and project documentation.
• Respond to tenders and Request for Proposal (RFP) opportunities.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Manage and mentor an established team of AV technicians, engineers and project personnel.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and contractual requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and stay current with emerging AV technologies and industry trends.
• Support project reporting, forecasting and financial performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Audio Visual, AV Integration or AV Project Management role.
• Proven experience designing and delivering commercial AV solutions.
• Strong knowledge of modern AV technologies, including video conferencing, collaboration and integrated AV systems.
• Experience preparing quotations, technical proposals and tender responses.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships that lead to project opportunities.
• Experience leading and managing technical teams within a project environment.
• Sound understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Experience working on commercial construction or fit-out projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
