Role & responsibilities
- Perform Functional, System Integration Testing (SIT), and Regression Testing on the Avaloq banking platform.
- Validate end-to-end banking workflows, including Customer Onboarding, Securities, and Payments.
- Execute test cases, prepare test scenarios, and identify, report, and track defects.
- Perform SQL queries for backend database validation and data verification.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand functional requirements.
- Track and manage defects using JIRA / ALM.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and testing activities.
- Ensure quality delivery through effective test execution and defect management.
- Support regression cycles and provide timely testing status reports.
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Testing.
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Avaloq Testing is mandatory.
- Strong experience in Functional Testing, SIT, and Regression Testing.
- Good understanding of banking and financial services workflows, particularly:
- Customer Onboarding
- Securities
- Payments
- Strong SQL skills for database validation.
- Experience working with JIRA / ALM and Agile methodologies.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment from Pune.
Good to Have:
- Test Automation experience using Tosca / Selenium.
- SWIFT Testing knowledge.
- ISTQB Certification.
