AVEVA System Platform Engineer (Wonderware)

Summary

Develops and maintains industrial HMI/SCADA applications using AVEVA System Platform (InTouch, Application Server) and integrates them with MES/ERP systems.

Responsibilities
•Development, configuration, and maintenance of applications based on the AVEVA System
Platform (InTouch, Application Server, Historian)

  • Creation and further development of HMI visualizations, scripts, and templates
  • Integration and configuration of I/O servers, communication drivers (e.g., OPC UA/DA), and

interfaces to higher-level systems (MES/ERP)

  • Fault analysis, troubleshooting, and system optimization during ongoing production operation
  • Performing software updates, migrations, and system backups
  • Documentation of system changes in accordance with internal quality standards
  • Close collaboration with Production, Maintenance, and IT
  • Support during the commissioning of new plant components
  • Taking on Second Level Support for complex faults and escalations

Job requirements
Experience with AVEVA System Platform / Wonderware
Knowledge of InTouch and Application Server
Experience with SQL and VBScript
Understanding of industrial communication protocols
PLC programming knowledge is an advantage
Slovak and English are mandatory
German is an advantage
Willingness to work early and late shifts
Willingness to participate in on-call duty
