Avionics Technician
In this role, you will take ownership of the following responsibilities:
Key Tasks
- Perform sub-assembly and final-assembly tasks.
- Fit and install electrical systems as well as avionics systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, and other technicians to resolve assembly problems and improve processes.
- Perform system tests to ensure proper function and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and follow health, safety and quality standards during the assembly process.
Competencies & Duties
- Working independently and responsibly. Perform tasks as described above. Proactive communication when issues arise, or help is needed.
- Compliance according to ANAVIA’ employment contract, compliance with company’ safety instructions and employee’ safety requirements, compliance with employers’ quality manual, work instructions and corresponding process specifications and instructions.
- Assure 5s behavior to drive clean, safe and efficient work processes.
- Completed technical education.
- At a minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar technical function.
- Solid technical and practical understanding of mechanical, mechatronic and electrical systems.
- Process-oriented and structured work methods.
- Responsible. Good technical understanding. Good communication skills.
- Good language skills in English (oral and written). German desirable.
- Location: On-site in Näfels | Bilten, Switzerland.
- Eligibility: Swiss or EU citizens.
