Reports To : VP / Strategic Data Lead

Job Overview:

Own and govern Participant data products across the investor lifecycle, including leads, prospects, clients, households, relationships, onboarding, servicing, and offboarding. Accountable for data quality, governance, adoption, and business value delivery across participant-focused datasets.

Key Objectives

  • Establish clear ownership for assigned Wealth Management data products

  • Deliver governed, trusted, and consumable datasets

  • Improve data quality, lineage, and business adoption

  • Embed governance into delivery workflows and backlog execution

  • Support regulatory, operational, and strategic initiatives

  • Define and monitor product KPIs and value realization metrics

Responsibilities:

Data Product Ownership & Agile Delivery

  • Act as the named Data Owner for assigned data products

  • Own Jira epics, features, stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritization

  • Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and delivery governance

  • Define business definitions, metadata, use cases, and data quality requirements

Domain-Specific Responsibilities

  • Own participant, prospect, client, investor, and household master data

  • Manage lead-to-prospect-to-client lifecycle data and business rules

  • Govern KYC, CIP, suitability, demographic, contact, and segmentation data

  • Support client onboarding, servicing, and offboarding processes

  • Drive identity resolution, householding, and relationship management capabilities

  • Partner with Advisor, Marketing, Service, Operations, and Compliance teams

  • Ensure consistency of participant data across CRM and Wealth Management platforms

Data Product Artifacts

  • Maintain Data Product Charter and Canvas

  • Create Data Requirement Documents and user stories

  • Maintain data catalog, business glossary, and lineage documentation

  • Maintain source-to-target mappings and attribute definitions

  • Provide KPI reporting and product health dashboards

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Data Governance teams

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, retention, privacy, and access-control requirements

  • Support audits, examinations, and governance reviews

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Business, or related field

  • 6–10+ years of Wealth Management or Financial Services experience

  • Experience in Data Product Ownership, Product Management, Data Governance, or Data Management

  • Experience working in large enterprise environments

  • Experience with Agile delivery, Jira, metadata, lineage, and data quality practices

Core Competencies:

  • Experience with enterprise data governance platforms and catalogs

  • Knowledge of regulatory and supervisory requirements in Wealth Management

  • Experience supporting advisor, operations, compliance, and client servicing functions
