# AVP / VP – OPERATIONS ## About the Opportunity We are working with a **leading Mumbai-based real estate organisation** with an established presence across the MMR and a growing portfolio of residential and commercial developments. The organisation is looking for a senior operations leader to strengthen execution and support its next phase of growth. ## Role Overview This is a senior leadership position with broad responsibility for ensuring that **projects, customer-facing operations, approvals and internal processes** work seamlessly together. The individual will be expected to bring structure, improve execution, build strong teams and work closely with leadership to solve operational challenges. ## Key Areas of Responsibility - Take ownership of the organisation's **day-to-day operational agenda** across multiple stages of the real estate lifecycle. - Drive better coordination between **project execution, customer servicing, approvals and internal business functions**. - Identify operational bottlenecks and introduce practical **systems, processes and governance mechanisms** to improve turnaround and accountability. - Build, guide and motivate **large teams**, creating a culture of ownership and performance. - Work closely with leadership and key stakeholders across **Projects, Sales, Finance, Legal, CRM and Compliance** to ensure smooth execution. - Use business data, operational reviews and performance indicators to identify issues and drive timely interventions. - Support leadership in strengthening the organisation's **operating model, processes and overall customer journey**. - Bring adequate awareness of the **regulatory, commercial and legal considerations** involved in real estate operations. ## Ideal Profile - **15+ years of experience** within the real estate sector, including substantial experience in operations leadership. - Strong exposure to **construction/project execution and post-sales or customer lifecycle functions**. - Practical knowledge of **DCPR 2034 and UDCPR Maharashtra** is important for this position. - Demonstrated experience in managing **large teams and complex stakeholder environments**. - Strong business orientation with the ability to balance **execution, customer experience, compliance and commercial priorities**. - Proven ability to improve processes and bring greater structure to growing or evolving organisations. - Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management capabilities. - **MBA/PGDM** in a relevant discipline would be preferred. ## Location **Mumbai**
