Are you an experienced AWS Solutions Architect who thrives on solving complex enterprise challenges and shaping the future of large-scale digital platforms?

We're seeking a highly capable architect to join a nationally significant program responsible for the ongoing evolution of critical business registry services. Working within a collaborative technology team, you'll drive the design and delivery of secure, scalable and resilient cloud solutions that support millions of users across Australia

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Solutions Architect, you'll provide technical leadership across cloud architecture initiatives, guiding teams through the design, governance and implementation of modern AWS-based solutions.

You'll work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams and senior leaders to create architecture outcomes that are secure, scalable, cost-effective and aligned with enterprise standards.

You Will:

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS using serverless & microservice architectures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end architecture solutions.

• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with AWS best practices.

• Ability to present to executive audiences to resolve solution options.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and operations teams.

• Author technical architecture deliverables and lead work through to endorsement.

• Design end-to-end cloud solutions and application architectures.

Provide architecture direction for AWS services such as:

• • Lambda,

  • ECS/Fargate,

  • API Gateway,

  • Aurora,

  • EventBridge,

  • EC2,

  • Kinesis and related cloud services.

• Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and patterns.

• Experience delivering structured knowledge transfer and capability uplift to teams through hands-on demonstrations, on-the-job training, and targeted one on one mentoring or buddy arrangements
