Project Details :

Job Title: AWS Data Engineer-

Location: Basildon, UK

Contract: B2B Contract, 5 days a week, & 8 hrs. a day.

Onsite:/Remote: Fully Onsite(5 days a week).

Duration: 12 months Contract + Possible extension

Start Date: ASAP OR 4 weeks.

Must-Have Skills:

* Strong experience building and supporting AWS Data Lakehouse solutions

* AWS services including S3, Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift, Lake Formation, EventBridge & Step Functions

* Advanced Python and SQL skills

* Strong experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing

* Hands-on experience with dbt or modern data transformation frameworks

* Data modelling experience (Kimball, Data Vault, Inmon)

* Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, security, and best practices

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable AWS data pipelines

Build and optimise ETL/ELT frameworks

Develop enterprise-grade Data Lakehouse architecture solutions

Create data models supporting analytics, reporting, and AI workloads

Implement monitoring, data quality, and governance controls

Partner with architects and business stakeholders on strategic data initiatives

Drive performance, scalability, and cost optimisation across the platform
