About the Role

We are hiring an experienced AWS Databricks Platform Administrator to design, operate, secure and optimize enterprise Databricks environments on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer Databricks accounts, workspaces, users, groups, permissions and access policies

- Provision and maintain Databricks workspaces on AWS using Terraform or CloudFormation

- Manage Unity Catalog metastores, catalogs, schemas and data access controls

- Configure clusters, SQL warehouses, cluster policies and jobs

- Integrate Databricks with AWS services: IAM, S3, VPC, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Secrets Manager, PrivateLink

- Monitor platform health, manage cost and lead incident, change and service-request management

- Automate deployment and operations through CI/CD pipelines and scripting

Required Skills

- 6+ years in cloud data platform, infrastructure, DevOps or production administration roles

- Strong hands-on Databricks administration with AWS-hosted deployments

- AWS expertise: IAM, S3, EC2, VPC, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail

- Terraform and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline)

- Python, Bash or PowerShell scripting

- Working knowledge of Spark, Delta Lake and SQL

- Incident, problem and change management with on-call support

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology+ M.C.A or B.Tech/B.E or B.C.A +M.C.A.

Preferred: Databricks and AWS certifications.
