AWS, DevOps Consultant - London, UK

In this Principal Consultant role, you will lead AWS, DevOps, and Python-focused client engagements, steering cloud transformation and automation initiatives. You’ll partner with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to define problems, design solutions, and guide implementation. You act as a technical leader for architecture reviews, solution design, and capability building, delivering impactful, value-driven consulting outcomes. This role offers visibility across client projects and opportunities to shape consulting solutions on a global scale.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of customer projects and DevOps initiatives
• Collaborate with customers, architects, and development teams to define and implement DevOps strategies
• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Develop automation solutions using Python, Shell scripting, and AWS services
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Ensure platform reliability, availability, security, and performance
• Provide L2/L3 production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
• Drive monitoring, logging, and observability using CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance on DevOps best practices
• Participate in solution design reviews, release planning, and change management activities
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards

• 8–12+ years IT experience with significant exposure to DevOps and Cloud technologies
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Route53)
• Proficiency in Python programming and automation
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools
• Knowledge of Linux administration, networking, and security best practices
• Experience with Git, version control, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
