Overview:
We’re looking for a couple skilled AWS DevOps Engineers with a strong background in cloud-native infrastructure and a proven track record delivering within NHS or wider public sector environments. This role will play a critical part in managing scalable, secure platforms with a focus on automation, observability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, including Helm chart configuration and management.
- Build, automate, and maintain infrastructure onAWSusingTerraform.
- Set up and manage observability and monitoring tools, particularlyGrafanaandPrometheus.
- Administer and support Linux-based systems, writing automation and scripting tools (e.g., Bash, Python) as needed.
- Drive DevOps culture and best practices across development and operations teams.
- Work closely with NHS stakeholders and technical teams to ensure secure and compliant infrastructure delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience working within the NHS or a healthcare-focused public sector organisation.
- Strong hands-on experience withKubernetesandHelm.
- Advanced knowledge ofAWSservices andTerraformfor IaC.
- Proven experience with observability tools such asGrafanaandPrometheus.
- SolidLinux administrationandDevOps scriptingskills.
- Enthusiasm for operations, automation, and infrastructure management.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Exposure to cloud security and compliance best practices.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).
