Mroads is hiring an AWS DevOps Engineer for one of its direct clients in Bogotá, Colombia. The role focuses on designing CI/CD pipelines (Harness), automating AWS/EKS infrastructure with Docker and Kubernetes, and supporting Kafka event-driven systems plus MongoDB and GraphQL integrations.
Mroads is looking for an "AWS DevOps Engineer" for one of our direct clients in Bogota, Colombia.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and enterprise DevOps initiatives.
- Strong experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Harness or similar DevOps platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Amazon EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing cloud-native deployment strategies and infrastructure automation.
- Strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and microservices architecture.
- Experience supporting event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, NoSQL databases, WebSockets, and GraphQL integrations.
- Strong knowledge of Git and modern software development workflows.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
