In this AWS DevOps role, you will design and build secure cloud infrastructure for government-focused projects, driving automation and scalable platform services. You join a fast-paced Agile delivery team, taking hands-on ownership of new infrastructure and delivery leadership across projects. You will guide customers on AWS architecture, mentor engineers, and uphold secure deployment practices. This opportunity combines technical leadership with meaningful impact in government and defence programs.

- Design, build and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure
- Create automated CI/CD pipelines
- Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Build and operate platforms for containerised applications
- Support software deployment, monitoring and operational performance
- Lead technical delivery throughout the full project lifecycle
- Advise customers on AWS architecture and technology choices
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships and key project deliverables
- Mentor engineers and support junior team members
- Promote Agile best practices, including Scrum and Kanban
- Strong commercial AWS experience
- Proven experience building new cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation and containerisation
- Experience with Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes
- Good understanding of AWS security principles and secure deployment practices
- Experience delivering within Agile teams
- Ability to lead technical solutions and take ownership of delivery
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers
