AWS DevOps Engineer
Summary
Design and maintain AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring for a media-focused cloud platform using Terraform, Docker, and Python.
What you'll do
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy or GitHub Actions
- Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging with CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana, and the ELK Stack
- Ensure security best practices across infrastructure including IAM and compliance checks
- Monitor AWS usage and implement cost optimization strategies
- Collaborate with development teams on application deployment and operations
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of DevOps or SRE experience with a strong AWS focus
- Proficient with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Deep knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS)
- Hands-on Docker and container orchestration experience
- Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting
- Strong Linux system administration skills
- Solid TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and networking knowledge
