- Engineers who are comfortable leading major incident investigations, providing on-call support, and collaborating on projects with colleagues.
- Python developers who love automating solutions. If your Python skills aren't much to brag about, then a development understanding with excellent scripting skills would also work.
- Broad experience working across many Cloud services, with a specific focus on AWS.
- Practical understanding of DevOps and Agile working methodologies. You build it, you own it, you support it mentality.
- Demonstrable enterprise infrastructure delivery success stories.
- Good understanding of Linux and/or Windows operating systems, proficient experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Git, Ansible and Terraform.
- You must believe that security is a fundamental aspect of delivering solutions and know what it takes to do so in an AWS context.

Responsibilities
- Supporting project teams to build safe, reliable, and secure systems that address HSBC's business needs.
- Providing on-call support, solving technical problems and helping to resolve incidents.
- Writing clear documentation that can be read by both technical and non-technical people.
- Assisting in the management of AWS accounts and operating key platform services.
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure secure and efficient project launches.
