AWS DevOps & PeopleSoft Infrastructure Engineer (Contract Role)
Summary
Contract engineer supporting enterprise PeopleSoft environments on AWS: installs, refreshes, cloning, Integration Broker and production troubleshooting, Windows/Linux server management, plus CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code automation, monitoring, backups and DR. Works a 3:00 PM-12:00 AM IST shift with 24x7 on-call rotation.

Role Summary:
We are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong PeopleSoft Administration and Production Support background. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting enterprise PeopleSoft environments, AWS/cloud infrastructure, automation, and production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support PeopleSoft production and non-production environments.
- Perform PeopleSoft installations, environment refreshes, cloning, uptime/downtime, and decommissioning.
- Troubleshoot Integration Broker, application, infrastructure, and production issues.
- Manage Windows and Linux servers, patching, monitoring, security, and performance.
- Support AWS cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
- Develop automation scripts for environment provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and operational processes.
- Monitor system health, availability, capacity, backups, DR, and high availability.
- Support releases, planned maintenance, outages, and 24x7 on-call rotation.
- Design scalable, secure, highly available infrastructure and disaster recovery solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and DR runbooks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to DevOps and support teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with PeopleSoft infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, or related enterprise technology.
- Strong PeopleSoft Administration experience.
- Strong AWS/Cloud and DevOps experience; AWS certification preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications in production.
- Intermediate/advanced VMware or virtualization experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work 3 PM IST to 12 AM IST
