We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:

• The Platform & Infrastructure Senior Consultant Specialist is responsible for providing expertise in the area of Infrastructure engineering, Risk & Control (GRC IT) service line for Platforms and Infrastructure. Ability to operate across a number of PODs across a spectrum of technology stacks working with POD Leads to deliver best in class operations.
• Role holder should be taking care of devops and SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) responsibilities as well.
• Will own upgrade, patching process, plan and execution to ensure the Service Line and all PODs follow best practise for addressing Cyber Security Risks etc.
• The role holder is expected to operate within and foster a learning culture, ensuring personal, and the team's, technical expertise remains current with the latest industry developments.
• This role will carry out some or all of the following activities: Identify Service improvement areas, agree with Service owners and execute them. Responsible to support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team.
• As a Technical Infrastructure Specialist, the P&I Senior Consultant Specialist will operate within a team(s) working at all stages of a product or service release/change with a strong customer focus and end-to-end journey, ensuring they have an excellent domain knowledge. Should be able to identify the obsolete or unused infrastructure and demise them and save cost.
• Working with other engineers within the team to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release/change
• Responsible to support in identification, root cause analysis and eradication of problems associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team
  
  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Should have profound knowledge on industry wise best practices related to software and hardware infrastructure. Sound knowledge about SSL certificates and their renewal.
• Working closely with POD members on various infra issues or concerns.. Good with any programming language Java should be Ideal
• Should be able to understand future state architecture and work closely with Solution Architect on infrastructure design. Sound Knowledge in CI and CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes. Should be well versed with Deployment automation techniques and can automate mundane tasks
• Must be able to handle on-call support and should have good linux skills to check any prod related issues or incidents
• Identify and quickly escalate potential issues with Infrastructure and their EOL issues
• Continuously upskill to leverage latest tools/technologies and improve the solutions. Solid understanding of Linux Platform and understanding of it
• .Minimum 5 years of exp as a Dev Ops engineer. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong working experience in scripting Shell or any Linux Script
• Sound understanding and technical depth on Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP. Solid knowledge of Ansible , GITand other Devops tools
• Sound knowledge about Storage infrastructure like SAN, NAS, vmdk, SRDF/RDM. Solid knowledge of Ansible , GITand other Devops tools
