As an AWS Gen AI Engineer - Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will use your knowledge to design, code, and test applications that revolutionize industries and deliver exceptional user experiences. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will also address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.

Responsibilities

- Leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation
- Managing and mentoring teams to enhance their skills in software engineering and product innovation
- Designing, coding, and testing applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++
- Utilizing application development frameworks and methodologies to improve software lifecycle management
- Overseeing the integration of enterprise applications and confirming seamless functionality across systems
- Conducting code reviews and quality assurance testing to maintain software standards
- Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Implementing continuous integration and delivery practices to streamline software deployment processes
- Encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance team performance and project outcomes
- Addressing technical challenges and troubleshooting issues to optimize software performance and user experience

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Lead the design and architecture of generative AI applications using Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, and SageMaker.

- Architect production-grade RAG pipelines using Bedrock Knowledge Bases with agentic retrieval, hybrid search, reranking, and multi-modal content (text, images, audio, video).

- Drive custom ML model development and fine-tuning strategies using SageMaker HyperPod, JumpStart, and Unified Studio.

- Define and implement prompt engineering frameworks; optimize cost with Intelligent Prompt Routing and Model Distillation (up to 500% faster, 75% cost reduction).

- Architect multi-agent orchestration patterns using Bedrock AgentCore with supervisor agents, RAG integration, code interpretation, and memory retention.

- Establish Bedrock Guardrails policies for responsible AI including content filtering, PII protection, Automated Reasoning checks, and hallucination mitigation.

- Lead the design of scalable data pipelines for AI/ML workloads using SageMaker Data Processing and Bedrock Data Automation.

- Establish AI/ML best practices, governance frameworks, and responsible AI guidelines.

- Lead and mentor GenAI engineering teams, driving technical excellence.

- Collaborate with product, data science, and platform teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.

- Evaluate emerging GenAI technologies (new foundation models, MCP integrations) and recommend adoption strategies.
