AWS Python Developer

Position Overview: Exp: 5-12 yrs Locations: ALL EY GDS Locations Skills: Python, Microservices, AWS, (Lambda/Step functions/ECS/Docker) and (DBX OR SQL)

AWS Technical Lead Software Engineering

To qualify for the role, you must have Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a bachelor/masters degree in, Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field with strong quantitative focus.

5+ years of working experience with particular focus on the following:

• Cloud & Platform Expertise Strong hands-on experience with: AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions) Azure Functions Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture principles
• Programming Proficiency in: Python Node.js
• Experience with: Kafka Kafka alternatives (e.g., AWS EventBridge, SNS/SQS, Azure Event Hub, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Strong understanding of asynchronous communication patterns in distributed ecosystem
• Containers & Orchestration Hands-on experience with: Docker Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) Good to have Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (practical exposure, not purely DevOps-focused)
• Knowledge of observability tools (monitoring, logging, tracing)
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud applications

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement event-driven systems using Kafka and related messaging/event streaming technologies
• Build and manage microservices using containers (Docker) and orchestration platforms
• Develop serverless applications using: AWS Lambda, Step Functions Node JS /Python
• Work with container platforms: AWS EKS / ECS Azure Functions
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability through optimization, monitoring, and tuning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
