An AWS Security Engineer role based in Madrid: designing, implementing, and maintaining security across AWS cloud environments — managing IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and KMS, monitoring for threats, configuring encryption and logging, and supporting audits and compliance.
As an AWS Security Engineer, you will:
- Design, implement, and maintain security solutions across AWS cloud environments.
- Manage AWS security services, including IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and AWS KMS.
- Implement access controls, identity management, and least-privilege permissions.
- Monitor cloud environments for security threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities.
- Configure security policies, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
- Conduct security assessments, support audits, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to strengthen cloud security.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and security.
- Knowledge of IAM, VPC security, security groups, and network access controls.
- Experience with cloud security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.
- Understanding of encryption, key management, and data protection.
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.

- Identify and resolve cloud security risks.
- Analyze security alerts and investigate incidents.
