AWS System Administrator

Locations: Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO
Clearance: Active TS/SCI

Administer and secure AWS infrastructure supporting mission-critical applications. You will manage daily cloud operations, troubleshoot performance issues, automate routine work, and help ensure platform availability and resilience.

What You Will Do

  • Provision and manage EC2, EBS, VPCs, security groups, IAM roles, and related AWS resources.
  • Monitor system health and resolve performance or availability issues.
  • Apply access controls, encryption, vulnerability management, and cloud security best practices.
  • Automate administrative tasks using Python, Bash, AWS CLI, or CloudFormation.
  • Maintain backup, recovery, patching, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams.

What You Bring

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain a CI polygraph within six months.
  • Four to six years of systems or cloud administration experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • Current DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • Hands-on AWS administration and troubleshooting experience.
