Aws Technical Architect

Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned AWS Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale cloud solutions. This role demands deep technical expertise across AWS services, modern application architectures, and integration frameworks, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and security. The architect will partner with leadership, engineering, and business stakeholders to define cloud strategy and deliver mission-critical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Agent Plane

• Architect solutions leveraging Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore runtimes, Gateway/MCP, and Cedar policy.
• Implement guardrails and memory frameworks for agent-based workloads.
• Establish governance models for GenAI-enabled applications.

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• Design knowledge bases and deploy OpenSearch Serverless.
• Implement entitlement-filtered retrieval for secure and context-aware GenAI applications.
• Integrate vector search and retrieval pipelines with enterprise data lakes.

Application & Compute Tier

• Deploy applications using Next.js on ECS Fargate.
• Design multi-AZ, autoscaling, and ALB-based architectures for high availability.
• Optimize containerized workloads with Docker/EKS and serverless compute.

Edge & Network

• Architect secure VPC subnet designs, PrivateLink endpoints, and NAT/egress allowlisting.
• Configure CloudFront for content delivery and WAF for application security.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise networking standards.

Identity

• Implement Cognito, Entra ID, OIDC/JWT, and JWKS verification for authentication and authorization.
• Design federated identity solutions for multi-tenant environments.

Security Services

• Architect solutions with Secrets Manager, KMS key design, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and least-privilege IAM.
• Conduct architecture reviews, penetration testing, and compliance assessments.
• Establish proactive monitoring and incident response frameworks.

Integration

• Enable seamless connectivity with Salesforce REST, ServiceNow Table API, Microsoft Graph, and MCP brokers (e.g., Workato).
• Design integration patterns for SaaS, on-prem, and hybrid systems.

Operational Database

• Architect Aurora PostgreSQL Multi-AZ deployments for resilience and scalability.
• Optimize database performance, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Integrate with RDS, DynamoDB, and legacy systems where required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in AWS architecture.
• Proven expertise in:
  
• Compute: ECS Fargate, EKS, Lambda, Docker.
• Networking: VPC, NAT, PrivateLink, CloudFront, WAF.
• Security: IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub.
• Identity: Cognito, OIDC/JWT, Entra ID.
• Databases: Aurora PostgreSQL, RDS, DynamoDB.
• Integration: Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Graph APIs.
• Hands-on experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector search.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks (Bedrock, AgentCore).
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional.
• Experience with GenAI workloads and retrieval-augmented architectures.
• Exposure to hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Background in regulated industries (finance, legal, healthcare).
