AZ Shunt Driver

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience & Skills:

Valid AZ Driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years’ professional driving work experience is required
3-5 years shunt driver experience
Clean driver’s abstract, experience letters and CVOR (Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration)
Strong geographic knowledge of GTA and surrounding area
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
High level of dependability and reliability
Ability to lift, stack and carry 50 pounds
Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
Flexibility with working hours and availability required

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform shunt driving between 2 EarthFresh Burlington facilities.
Perform local deliveries primarily within the GTA and surrounding area.
Drive and operate straight trucks or trailers in a safe and professional manner.
Perform truck and trailer safety inspection reports.
Maintain accurate logbooks, incident reports, customer paperwork (bills of lading).
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act and EarthFresh GMPs.
All other duties as required by Warehouse Manager.
