Azure AI Cloud Engineer

Introduction & Summary

The Azure AI Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable and resilient Azure cloud infrastructure, with additional exposure to GCP. This role focuses on deploying and maintaining cloud applications and services, enhancing capabilities related to AI and Data platform infrastructure. A successful candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge of Azure services, architecture best practices, and hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, primarily Terraform, while also fostering interests in AI/ML workloads.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure using GCP and Azure services.
  • Develop automated deployment pipelines utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Implement security practices, including Identity and Access Management and network security.
  • Design, provision, and manage Azure AI and Data components via IAC.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create governed AI Landing zones.
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity in Terraform/Bicep code management.
  • Create and maintain documentation of infrastructure architecture and configurations.
  • Work closely with architects to ensure timely delivery of MVPs.
  • Stay updated with new GCP/Azure services and best practices in the AI domain.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture.
  • Proven experience with GCP/Azure services and architecture, including AI and analytics tools.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Azure tools.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and their integration with cloud services.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking fundamentals and secure connectivity.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices in cloud environments.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in AI coding assistants and multi-agent frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud technologies.

Other Details

Work will be performed in a hybrid model with three days in the office weekly, located in Koregaon Park, Pune. The role operates in the CET time zone, emphasizing the importance of adaptability and teamwork in cloud engineering projects.
