As a Azure Cloud Solutions Architect you can expect to...
- Lead the end-to-end design of secure, scalable, and resilient Azure solutions across applications, integrations, data, infrastructure, and security.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and architecture workshops, translating business requirements into technical solutions and actionable delivery plans.
- Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices while providing technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Guide application modernization initiatives, helping clients evolve legacy systems into cloud-native Azure solutions.
- Architect and support solutions leveraging Azure services including App Services, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, SQL, Containers, and Kubernetes.
- Define integration, API, and event-driven architecture patterns to support scalable enterprise applications.
- Drive DevOps adoption through CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, and release automation using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Bicep.
- Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, reliability, and compliance requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing architecture guidance and communicating technical concepts to both business and technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with project teams throughout the solution lifecycle, from strategy and design through implementation and deployment.
- Support pre-sales activities including solution shaping, technical estimates, proof of concepts, and statement of work development.
- Contribute to HSO's growth by developing reusable assets, sharing technical expertise, and promoting HSO's mission and shared values.

- 8+ years of experience designing and delivering Microsoft Azure solutions across application architecture, cloud architecture, and engineering leadership.
- Strong software engineering background with hands-on experience in C#, .NET/.NET Core, REST APIs, distributed systems, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience architecting and implementing Azure-native solutions using services such as App Services, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Storage, Container Apps, and/or AKS.
- Proven ability to lead development teams, mentor engineers, and establish architecture, coding, and quality standards.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Bicep), automated testing, and Agile delivery practices.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud solutions while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications, designing enterprise integration strategies, and supporting cloud transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Azure security, governance, reliability, performance, and operational best practices.
- Experience working in consulting, professional services, or client-facing environments is highly preferred.
- Microsoft Azure certifications, particularly Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), are a plus.
