Azure Cloud Architect (Networking & Security)

Location: Bangalore

Experience Required: 5+ Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect with strong expertise in cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, security, and Office 365 administration. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on networking and enterprise integration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Azure Architecture

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure
  
• Deploy and manage Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL
  
• Build highly available and fault-tolerant architectures
  

2. Networking (Primary Focus)

• Design and manage Virtual Networks (VNet), Subnets, NSG, and UDR
  
• Implement and manage:
  
• Azure Load Balancer
  
• Application Gateway
  
• CDN (Azure Front Door)
  
• Configure Site-to-Site and Point-to-Site VPN connectivity
  
• Design hybrid connectivity using ExpressRoute
  
• Implement Hub-Spoke and multi-region architectures
  
• Troubleshoot latency, routing, and connectivity issues
  

3. Security & Firewall

• Implement Azure Firewall, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and NSG policies
  
• Integrate and manage third-party firewall solutions such as Palo Alto Networks
  
• Design secure architectures (Zero Trust, segmentation)
  
• Ensure compliance with security best practices
  

4. Identity & Access Management

• Manage identity using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
  
• Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
  
• Configure Conditional Access policies
  
• Integrate identity services across cloud and enterprise applications
  

5. Office 365 Administration

• Administer and manage Microsoft 365 (Office 365) services
  
• Configure and manage:
  
• Exchange Online
  
• SharePoint Online
  
• Microsoft Teams
  
• Implement security policies including:
  
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  
• Email security and compliance
  
• Manage user lifecycle, licensing, and access control
  
• Troubleshoot mail flow, authentication, and collaboration issues
  

6. Monitoring & Optimization

• Implement monitoring using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
  
• Configure alerts, dashboards, and performance tracking
  
• Optimize cost, performance, and availability
  

7. Hybrid Cloud & Migration

• Design and implement hybrid cloud architectures
  
• Migrate on-premises workloads and Office 365 services to cloud
  
• Ensure secure and seamless connectivity between environments
  

Required Skills:

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform
  
• Experience in Office 365 administration and troubleshooting
  
• Deep understanding of networking concepts:
  
• TCP/IP, Routing, Switching
  
• BGP, VPN, MPLS
  

Core Competencies

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  
• Ability to design scalable and secure architectures
  
• Good communication and documentation skills
  

Certifications (Preferred):

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  

Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years in IT Infrastructure / Cloud
  
• Strong background in networking & Server administration
  

Nice to Have:

• Automation tools (Terraform / Ansible)
  
• Linux administration
  
• Monitoring and performance tuning experience
