Summary
The role of Azure Cloud Engineer is to design, implement, and optimize resilient cloud infrastructure on Azure platforms. The objective is to ensure the high availability, security, and performance of cloud-based applications and services.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure, scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure using Azure services based on business and technical requirements.
Develop automated deployment pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Azure CloudFormation and Azure CDK.
Implement and manage security practices including Identity and Access Management, network security, and encryption for data protection.
Design backup, disaster recovery, and failover solutions for high availability.
Create and maintain documentation of infrastructure architecture and share knowledge with team members.
Collaborate with architects and managers to finalize MVP before production deployment.
Stay updated with new Azure services and recommend improvements.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
5-7 years of experience in cloud engineering or related field.
Proven experience with Azure services.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
Knowledge of networking principles in cloud environments.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks.
Nice to Have:
Master's degree or relevant certifications.
Certifications such as Azure Certified DevOps Engineer.

Location: Pune Hybrid
Team Structure: Collaborative environment with multi-cloud architects.
Reporting Lines: Reports to the Cloud Operations Manager.
Notice Period: Immediate joiners are preferred. Candidates currently serving their notice period with a joining availability of 15–20 days are also preferred.
