Azure Cloud Platform Engineer

Location: Jurong
Job Type: Contract (Renewable basis)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate Azure cloud platforms across sandbox, QA, UAT and production environments.
• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Azure Bicep or equivalent tools.
• Build CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, ShipHATS or similar platforms.
• Develop self-service golden paths, deployment templates and reusable platform services for development teams.
• Embed security, compliance and DevSecOps guardrails through policy-as-code, automated scanning and secure access controls.
• Implement identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, PIM and Conditional Access.
• Establish monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and dashboards, including cost and platform health metrics.
• Support the production-readiness of AI-enabled applications and MVPs, including containerisation, APIs, security and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security and business stakeholders to continuously improve platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Min. 10 years of hands-on engineering experience, with strong experience designing and operating Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure Landing Zones, Azure Policy, Container Apps/App Service, API Management, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Defender for Cloud.
• Experience working within Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) or other regulated cloud environments.
• Strong expertise in Terraform/Bicep, CI/CD, GitOps and DevSecOps.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access and enterprise identity integration.
• Good understanding of containers, APIs, cloud-native architectures and authentication standards such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML and JWT.
• Experience supporting production cloud-native applications or shared platform services.
• Practical exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot or Claude.
• Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
