Azure CloudOps Engineer

We are looking for a CloudOps Engineer to join an international technology team responsible for supporting and operating business-critical applications hosted on Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong operational expertise, a proactive mindset, and a passion for reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation, reliability, and availability of Azure-hosted applications.
  • Integrate and onboard new applications into the Azure environment.
  • Provide N2/N3 support, including incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Monitor application health and performance using observability and monitoring tools.
  • Manage releases, patching activities, and maintenance operations.
  • Contribute to the scalability, resilience, and performance optimization of cloud services.
  • Support automation initiatives through CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Participate in SLA/SLO monitoring, operational reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proven experience operating and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and Key Vault.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or SolarWinds.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD practices.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Familiarity with DevOps/GitOps practices and deployment pipelines.
  • Strong experience in incident management, production support, and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Professional proficiency in English; French is a plus.
