Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Services, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure DevOps. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, implementing ETL/ELT processes, and building reliable data engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
• Build and optimize data transformation workflows using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Develop and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions on Azure.
• Work with Azure Synapse dedicated/serverless SQL pools and optimize query performance.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes for structured and semi-structured data.
• Use Azure Databricks for data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and processing.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Azure DevOps.
• Manage source control, build and release pipelines, and infrastructure deployment workflows.
• Work with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Delta Lake.
• Apply data quality checks, security controls, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver business data solutions.
