Azure Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Mumbai region of Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, particularly with Azure technologies, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions that support our business objectives. As an Azure Data Engineer, you will work closely with data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable data pipelines. You will leverage your expertise in ETL processes, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling to ensure data integrity and accessibility. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other Azure services. - Implement data transformation processes using dbt and ensure data quality. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs. - Optimize data storage and retrieval processes in Snowflake and other data warehousing solutions. - Utilize Git for version control and CI/CD practices to streamline deployment processes. - Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure high availability and performance. - Document data processes and maintain best practices for data engineering. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Azure Data Engineering tools and services. - Strong experience with Snowflake and ETL processes. - Familiarity with dbt for data transformation. - Knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data. - Experience with Git for version control. - Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. - Ability to work with APIs for data integration. - Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
