The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on the Azure platform. As an Azure Data Engineer, you will work closely with data architects and data scientists to ensure that data is accessible, reliable, and secure. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and PySpark to ensure efficient data processing and transformation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability, ensuring that data retrieval is efficient and effective. - Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring data integrity and availability. - Implement best practices for data governance and security within the Azure environment. - Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and data engineering trends to continuously improve our data solutions. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database. - Strong experience with PySpark for data processing and transformation. - Solid understanding of SQL for querying and managing databases. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders. - Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
