NTT DATA Europe & Latam in Italy seeks an Azure Data Engineer to bridge Data Science and Data Engineering. You will support customers in Big Data projects, collaborating with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs and outcomes.
You will deliver data acquisition, transformations, cleansing and loading into data lakes for analytics and ML models. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cloud native environments, Azure experience, and skills in Spark, Databricks,
Deliver data acquisition, transformations and improvement Cleansing, conversion, compression and loading of data into data lakes Collaborate with analysts and solution architects to understand use cases and outcomes Support customers in Big Data projects and deliver end-to-end data pipelines Work with Azure-based ETL/ELT tools and Spark-based technologies 5+ years in cloud native environments, with preference for Azure Experience with Big Data architectures Proficient in Azure infrastructure and networking Experience delivering proofs-of-concept for business needs Experience migrating workloads to cloud environments Experience monitoring distributed infrastructure with Azure tools or open source Proven skills in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting Strong SQL knowledge Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies Experience leading medium teams
