Summary
Contract (6–12 months) Azure Data Engineer role at Pacer Group in Toronto for a BFSI client, hybrid 3–4 days/week, paying CAD 50–55/hour incorporated. The engineer builds scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Databricks, PySpark, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Python and SQL, plus Autosys job scheduling.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing, including 5+ years with Azure Data Platform technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Expertise in building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using ADLS, Python, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Autosys for job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of Spark architecture, distributed computing, and performance optimization.
- Experience with MySQL, data quality validation, Git/Azure DevOps, and technical leadership.
