Azure Data Engineer
Summary
Build and optimize scalable data pipelines and warehouses using SQL, ETL/ELT, and cloud platforms to power analytics and BI for a growing product team.
We're looking for a Data Engineer to join a growing technology team where you'll play a key role in building scalable, reliable data platforms that drive analytics, business intelligence, and product development.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Building and optimising ETL/ELT processes
- Creating scalable data models and schemas
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving pipeline performance
- Implementing data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks
- Collaborating with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
- Contributing to data architecture decisions and technical roadmaps
- Working with CI/CD, version control, and Infrastructure as Code practices
What We're Looking For
- Strong SQL skills, including query optimisation
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Understanding of cloud-based data platforms and Infrastructure as Code
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Hands-on experience with technologies such as:

- ClickHouse or other columnar databases
- Tableau or other visualisation tools
- Metadata and data catalogue tools
