Job Role & Responsibility / Skills

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Develop and manage data integration workflows across multiple data sources.
• Build, schedule, and monitor ADF pipelines for efficient data processing.
• Work with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and other Azure services.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and resolve data integration issues.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business teams to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security throughout the data integration process.

Skills

• 4+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or ETL development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Proficiency in SQL and stored procedures.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Good knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
• Experience in building and managing ADF pipelines.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Good to Have

• Experience with Azure Databricks and PySpark.
• Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience with Python scripting.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Knowledge of data migration and cloud-based data solutions.
