Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Azure Databricks Platform Administrator to manage, secure, monitor, and optimize enterprise Databricks environments on Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Azure Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, SQL warehouses, and access controls.
- Manage Unity Catalog, data governance, and security permissions.
- Configure Azure services, including ADLS Gen2, Entra ID, Key Vault, and Virtual Networks.
- Automate platform provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Optimize platform performance, security, and cloud costs.
Mandatory Skills
- Azure Databricks Platform Administration
- Microsoft Azure: ADLS Gen2, Entra ID, Key Vault, and Virtual Network
- Unity Catalog and access management
- Terraform / Bicep / ARM templates
- CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting using Python, PowerShell, or Shell
- Production support and troubleshooting
Preferred Skills: Delta Lake, Apache Spark, SQL, Azure DevOps, Private Link, Azure Monitor, and Databricks Asset Bundles.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
