Summary
Senior DevOps Automation Engineer building and optimizing enterprise CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD / Azure DevOps) and Python-based automation for Azure cloud environments. Day to day: automating infrastructure and application workflows, Terraform-based provisioning, and production troubleshooting/monitoring.
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Automation Engineer with strong Python development and CI/CD automation expertise to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade DevOps solutions. The role involves automating application and infrastructure workflows, developing robust pipelines, and supporting Azure cloud environments.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical architecture, and drive automation best practices across the organization.
- 7+ years of hands-on Python development and automation experience.
- Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD and/or Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Practical experience with Docker, Linux troubleshooting, and Shell/Bash scripting.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and automating infrastructure and application workflows.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, YAML, and deployment automation.
- Experience with Azure cloud services and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Ability to prepare and present High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD).
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and technical problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Terraform modules and infrastructure provisioning.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI and Django.
- Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Monitor, Key Vault, RBAC, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with cloud security, monitoring, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.

- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop Python-based automation solutions for application and infrastructure operations.
- Optimize build, test, deployment, and release processes.
- Support Azure cloud provisioning, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
- Define DevOps standards, contribute to architecture decisions, and mentor team members.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, and end users on estimation, delivery, and acceptance testing.
