The role builds Azure infrastructure-as-code (Bicep/ARM), Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, and security-conscious PowerShell automation, and works with Entra ID, Azure CLI/KQL, Azure AI services, and Datadog monitoring.

Core technical skills
- Azure Bicep/ARM IaC (modular templates, what-if validation, AVM-wrapping patterns)
- Azure DevOps YAML pipelines (multi-stage, environment gates, service connections, WIF/OIDC)
- PowerShell 7+ to a security-conscious standard (Managed Identity/Service Principal auth, Key Vault for secrets, no plaintext credentials, structured logging)
- Entra ID fundamentals (app registrations, Graph API, RBAC/PIM, conditional access concepts, Exchange Online app access policies)
- Azure CLI and Azure Resource Graph (KQL) for read paths
- Basic networking (private endpoints, DNS forwarding, NSGs/firewalls)
- Azure AI platform services (AI Foundry, AI Search, Cosmos DB, Azure OpenAI), including private networking and quota/throttle behavior
- Datadog monitor authoring (JSON monitor defs, tag/query DSL conventions)
