Azure DevOps Team Lead

We are seeking an Azure DevOps Team Lead to guide our SRE team, collaborating with L2 and cross-functional teams to ensure production stability and drive improvements in DORA metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation and governance of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins across multiple teams
  • Drive infrastructure and configuration automation with Ansible, ensuring reusable, standardized and secure automation practices
  • Provide technical leadership and escalation support for complex Linux and Windows-hosted application platform issues in build and runtime environments
  • Define and enforce DevOps standards, best practices and guardrails in collaboration with development, QA and security teams
  • Oversee pipeline performance, reliability and scalability, proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities
  • Guide and review Azure and AKS-based deployments, ensuring alignment with organizational architecture and security standards
  • Own release orchestration across environments, including planning, execution, approvals and post-release stabilization
  • Mentor, coach and upskill junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design reviews and knowledge sharing
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for DevOps-related initiatives and cross-team dependencies
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders across engineering, operations and management

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working experience in DevOps, SRE or related roles
  • Expertise in Linux and Windows Server administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning
  • Proficiency in managing services, automation and scripting on Linux and Windows-based systems
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD ownership and release orchestration
  • Skills in designing and managing build and release pipelines with Azure DevOps and Jenkins
  • Competency in YAML pipelines, templates, variables, approvals and integration with repositories and deployment targets
  • Experience in designing and maintaining Jenkins pipelines, shared libraries and agent management
  • Expertise in Ansible for playbook design, automation of deployments and system configuration
  • Capability to integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot playbook failures
  • Background in Microsoft Azure services, supporting cloud infrastructure through automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of security and governance basics in Azure
  • Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes concepts for CI/CD-driven deployments
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2)
