Azure Integration Engineer
Summary
Designs, builds, and maintains enterprise integrations connecting SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, IFS Cloud FSM, CPQ, and other platforms using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, APIM, Service Bus, Functions). Day to day includes API/event-driven development, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, monitoring, and root-cause troubleshooting.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Integration Engineer to join our Technical Integration team. The role is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, supporting, and maintaining enterprise integration solutions across cloud and business platforms. You will work closely with Solution Architects, Platform Engineers, SAP teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable integrations connecting SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, IFS Cloud FSM, CPQ, and other enterprise applications using Microsoft Azure Integration Services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain integrations using Azure Logic Apps, API Management (APIM), Service Bus, and Azure Functions.
Build and support API-based and event-driven integration solutions.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
Perform root cause analysis, bug fixing, and operational support.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate with global teams in an Agile environment.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps (Standard), API Management (APIM), Service Bus, and Azure Functions.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OData, and integration patterns.
Experience with OAuth 2.0, Microsoft Entra ID, and Managed Identity.
Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js.
Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Azure monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
SAP integration experience involving S/4HANA, ECC, APIs, IDocs, or BAPIs.
Preferred
IFS Cloud / FSM integration
Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
Docker
Jira / Confluence
Experience working in international enterprise environments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Azure Integration Engineer: 2+ years of relevant Azure integration experience.
Senior Azure Integration Engineer: 5+ years of relevant experience, including designing and supporting enterprise integration solutions.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204).
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
