Azure Solutions Architect (Microsoft Certified)

We are looking for a highly experienced Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect to join our team as a key technical leader with a strong focus on Data & AI and Digital Business Platforms within the Microsoft ecosystem.

This role combines client-facing solution leadership with hands-on architecture and engineering responsibilities. The balance between pre-sales, delivery leadership, and hands-on contribution may vary depending on project phase and business needs.

As a company focused on the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), we support enterprise and mid-sized clients in building modern cloud architectures and integrated digital ecosystems — spanning Data & AI, Business Analytics, CRM, ERP, Marketing Automation, E-Commerce, and PIM systems.

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients while helping shape and expand our Microsoft Data & AI and Digital Platforms practice.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Solution Leadership

• Lead architecture and solution design for Azure-based Data, AI, and Digital Platform initiatives.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable cloud and integrated system architectures.
• Support pre-sales activities as Technical Consultant and Solution Architect.
• Conduct architecture workshops and technical discussions with clients across the DACH region.
• Design integrated enterprise landscapes across:

o Data platforms & Business Analytics
o AI-powered applications
o CRM systems
o ERP platforms
o Marketing automation tools
o E-Commerce systems
o PIM (Product Information Management) systems

• Prepare technical concepts, solution proposals, estimations, and resource planning.
• Ensure architectural governance and quality throughout delivery.

Data, AI & Digital Architecture

• Design and implement modern Azure Data & AI solutions, including:

o Microsoft Fabric / Azure Synapse
o Azure Data Factory / Data Lake
o Azure AI Services / Azure OpenAI

• Architect enterprise-grade Business Analytics and reporting platforms.
• Design and oversee integrations between:

o CRM, ERP, Marketing platforms
o E-Commerce platforms
o PIM systems
o Data and AI ecosystems

• Define scalable integration patterns and API-based architectures.
• Ensure data governance, security, performance, and compliance (especially for DACH markets).
• Identify and implement AI-powered tools to accelerate development and innovation.
• Provide hands-on architectural guidance and mentor engineering teams.
• Drive internal initiatives to strengthen Microsoft Data, AI, and Digital Business capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in IT, with strong expertise in solution and cloud architecture.
• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (required).
• Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience in several of the following domains:

o Data platforms & Business Analytics
o AI-driven solutions
o CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 or similar)
o ERP platforms
o Marketing automation tools
o E-Commerce platforms
o PIM systems

• Experience designing system integrations and enterprise architecture landscapes.
• Proven experience in client-facing roles and technical consulting.
• Experience leading development teams and complex project delivery.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, cloud security, and governance.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
• German language skills are a strong plus, especially for DACH client interaction.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and advanced analytics platforms.
• Experience integrating AI into CRM, ERP, E-Commerce, or PIM systems.
