Azure Virtual Desktop Expert

Role & responsibilities

- Design, implement and support AVD and Nerdio (host pools, session hosts, scaling)

- Build and maintain Windows images, app packages and FSLogix profiles

- Manage Intune policies, Entra ID access, Conditional Access and Microsoft Defender

- Automate provisioning and maintenance using PowerShell

- Troubleshoot performance, connectivity and authentication issues

- Maintain monitoring, recovery procedures and documentation

Preferred candidate profile

6+ years in Microsoft infrastructure/endpoint engineering

- Hands-on Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Nerdio

- Microsoft Intune and Entra ID

- Microsoft Defender and Windows administration

- FSLogix, desktop images and app deployment

- Azure networking, compute, storage and RBAC

- PowerShell automation
