B2B SaaS Marketing Leader (96FE11F)
Description
Referment is working with… an early-stage B2B fintech business developing software that helps companies manage receivables, collections, payments and reconciliation more effectively. The product brings traditionally fragmented cash-management activity into one platform for finance teams.
The business is looking for a hands-on marketing leader to build its demand-generation capability and create a repeatable engine for acquisition, conversion and customer growth. This is a broad role spanning strategy, experimentation, analytics, content and team leadership, with close collaboration across leadership, product and engineering.
The Role
- Build and lead a marketing team delivering multi-channel growth, demand-generation and lifecycle programmes.
- Own marketing performance across self-service acquisition, the sales funnel, customer growth and retention.
- Use data to develop, test and optimise messaging, content, design and campaigns across digital customer and prospect journeys.
- Work with leadership, product and engineering to improve online communication channels and align marketing activity with the product experience.
- Develop the marketing technology, analytics and measurement capability needed to support better growth decisions.
- Identify new acquisition channels, audiences and verticals, then turn successful experiments into repeatable programmes.
- Develop useful content for prospective and existing users across formats such as articles, webinars and reports.
What We're Looking For
- At least three to five years’ B2B marketing experience in fintech, ecommerce or a relevant adjacent sector.
- Hands-on demand-generation and growth-marketing experience within a B2B software business.
- Evidence of developing marketing strategy across more than one market, segment or product and managing performance against clear KPIs.
- A test-and-learn mindset, with the analytical judgement to prioritise experiments and improve campaigns through iteration.
- Strong cross-functional influence and the confidence to contribute ideas directly with senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing, coaching and developing people while remaining willing to execute personally.
This could suit a Head of Growth, Head of Demand Generation or hands-on Head of Marketing who has helped an early-stage B2B SaaS company find repeatable acquisition channels and now wants ownership across the wider marketing funnel.
