Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, OR Information Technology, Data Science, Information Systems, or a closely relevant discipline
Must have 3-5+ years of Data Warehouse Design working experience
Must have Analytical & Dimensional Data Warehouse Modelling working experience- and Jira Proficient in using Jira for time management and organizational tasks,
Must have Understanding of Big Data Visualization Tools
Must have Understanding of Big Data Concepts (e.g. ETL, Data Normalisation, Performance Tuning)
Must have work experience Relational Database Knowledge (SQL Server, Postgres)
Must have Data warehouse architecture, data structures and fundamental design principles of the data warehouse.
Perform software development, production support and provide overall expertise in the area of Data Warehouse and Reporting Applications.
Needs to work independently with general supervision as well as part of the team;
Will need to provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees.
Proficient in using Jira for time management and organizational tasks, enabling effective collaboration and alignment with team objectives.
The candidate should, at a minimum, possess the listed critical skills before being considered for the position.
A balance of technical expertise and soft skills is essential for this role. The successful candidate must not only demonstrate a strong understanding of the technical requirements but also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external clients.
The ability to share feedback across various levels of the organization is also key to success in this position.
Salary: R50 000 CTC per Month - ( salary is depending on years working experience gained relevant to this Vacancy and current Salary earned )
Please Note: A Pension Fund of between 4% - 11% of your Monthly Salary will be deducted from your Monthly Salary, which is mandatory for all employees, the full amount would be also deducted from your Monthly Salary – this is not negotiable.
NB: (the Company does not contribute to the Pension Fund at all)
