Back End Developer
Summary
Full-time onsite backend .NET developer at a Norwich-based software company building a data analytics platform for business financial information. Day to day: designing and maintaining C#/.NET RESTful APIs, writing and optimising SQL queries, building integrations, and improving platform performance in a small team reporting to the CTO.
Salary: £35,000 - 38,000 per year
Requirements:- At least two years experience in a Backend Developer, .NET Developer, or Full Stack Developer role
- Strong practical knowledge of C#, .NET, and Web APIs
- Good SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, data structures, and version control using Git
- Confident problem-solving skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to take ownership of development tasks
- Experience with AWS, Angular, React, Vue, or CI/CD processes is useful but not essential
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET
- Build integrations between software applications, databases, and third-party platforms
- Work with SQL databases, including writing and optimising queries
- Collaborate with developers and data engineers to deliver new features
- Improve API performance, reliability, and scalability
- Investigate technical issues and support ongoing platform development
