Back End Developer
Summary
Build and maintain Java/J2EE backend services, APIs, and integrations using Oracle DB and distributed architectures.
We are seeking a skilled Java/J2EE Developer with strong backend development expertise and hands‑on experience in distributed architectures and enterprise integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the Java/J2EE platform
- Integrate with internal and external servers/applications using distributed architecture patterns
- Build and maintain backend APIs, web services, and self‑service call flows
- Prepare and execute system test cases, ensuring quality through proper unit testing
- Collaborate with multiple teams to troubleshoot integration issues and bugs
- Participate in implementation discussions involving 3rd‑party applications and non‑core requirements
- Document source code with clear comments and best practices
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned development tasks
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE platform
- Good understanding of Oracle DB and integration patterns
- Familiarity with API authentication mechanisms
- Experience with code repositories (Git, SCB, Azure DevOps)
