Back End Developer
About the role
The Back End Developer will design, build, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that support Presto Real Estate Management's internal systems and client-facing platforms. This role involves collaborating with front-end developers, product teams, and operations staff to implement secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Write clean and maintainable code
- Integrate databases and third-party services
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Optimize existing features
- Participate in code reviews
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Help improve development workflows and best practices
About you
- Proficient with Laravel language
- Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming
- Solid Software Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills
- Practical experience with Front-End Development to support integration and collaboration
- Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, API design (REST/GraphQL), and version control tools such as Git
- Experience with server-side frameworks and languages (e.g., Node.js, Java, C#, Python, or similar)
- Basic understanding of security and performance best practices
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Capacity to work on-site in Manila within a collaborative team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
