Back-end Developer

Develop and maintain Stratumn's SaaS product Trace by writing performant server-side code, improving API reliability, testing application workflows, monitoring production, and collaborating on architecture and UX integration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full application lifecycle.
• Write well-structured, readable, performant, and maintainable code.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to improve test coverage.
• Monitor production using monitoring tools and alerts.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UX with server-side logic.
• Participate in design and architecture sessions to improve the platform.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and tools.

Requirements

• Good understanding of web application design, development, and deployment.
• Knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Practical experience with Node.js or a similar programming language.
• Strong analytical and time-management skills.
• Autonomy.
• Ability to work in a team with a problem-solving attitude.
• Engineering degree or Master's degree in Computer Science.
• Fluent English.
